Ghosts, superheroes, witches, and characters from books were just some of the costumes at Swamplight's Annual Family Friendly Halloween Party. Both children and adults dressed up to get into the spirit of the night as they partied among the party decorations. Kay Butler Performing Arts Project Workshop instructors led the activities and games for the excited partygoers. A dance party in the theatre was the site of smooth and not quite as smooth moves as everyone got into the music and enjoyed themselves.
The theatre also hosted mini performances by KBPAP workshop participants and a costume contest whose applause rocked the house. Yummy snacks were served at the canteen. Of course, candy was the star of the night as attendees could win additional candy as prizes for games and contests.
I wonder what the winning costumes will be next year? Why don't you come and find out!
