Students and teachers at the Kay Butler Performing Arts Project are immersed in a variety of classes that support and build skills in the performing arts. Meeting young students where they are, teachers work to develop age-appropriate skills in a safe environment while instilling confidence and a sense of teamwork. Progress, effort, and accomplishments are celebrated.
Students in music, dance, acting, production, and musical theatre work on many skills throughout the semester, with the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned at the
end-of-the-year production scheduled for May 6.
If your child is interested in joining our classes, please look at the offerings on our website swamplight.org --arrangements can be made for a one-time drop-in class or, if room permits, joining the class for the remainder of the semester.
