Swamplight Theatre celebrated the Christmas season with their Annual Christmas Tea held the first two weekends in December. Attendees arrived ready for excitement and ready to make new Christmas memories. Some came in holiday finery while others arrived in costume, but all came ready to have a great time and enjoy the experience.
After finding the lobby decorated in lighted trees and snow drifts adorned with stuffed animals, guests were escorted to their reserved tables. A menu including scones, finger sandwiches, mini quiches, and various sweet treats were enjoyed with tea or hot chocolate.
The advanced acting and production workshop participants presented Frozen in the Big Easy, a Christmas program with a New Orleans flair that included some favorite characters and princesses. The tea was capped off by a picture with the characters and a special gift for our young visitors.
